Step by Step Guide to fix your Bird App...

We apologize for your issues with our app. Listed below is a set of steps that has proven useful to other users.

1. On the iPhone/iPod, tap and hold your finger on the Audubon Birds icon until the icons all start to shake and have an X on them.
2. Lift your finger and tap again on the Audubon Birds icon to delete it. You will have a confirmation message asking if you want to delete the app. Tap Delete.
3. Press the round menu button on the front of the iPhone/iPod to stop the icons from shaking and exit “delete” mode.
4. Power down your iPhone/iPod by pressing and holding the power button until a “slide to power off” slider appears. Slide to power down the phone.
5. Once powered down, wait for about 5 minutes (allowing the memory to clear), restart the phone by pressing and holding the power button.
6. Start iTunes on your computer and click Applications under Library in the left hand column.
7. Update Audubon Birds to the latest version by clicking the “check for updates” link on the bottom right. If you’re already logged into iTunes, then this link may say “x updates available” where x is the number of updates you have available.
8. Find the Audubon Birds app in the update list and click the get update button. If the Audubon Birds app isn’t in the update list then your iTunes should already be at the latest version. You can verify this by right clicking on the Audubon Birds icon in your Applications section and selecting “get info”. On the summary panel, the version number should be 1.3.
9. Connect your iPhone/iPod to your computer. If iTunes is setup to automatically sync on start-up let it finish. The app may not be sync'ed at this point yet.
10. Click on your iPhone/iPod on the left hand panel under Devices. The right hand side should now have details about your iPhone/iPod. There should also be a tab at the top on the right hand side called "applications". Click on this tab.
11. You will now see a list of your apps with checkboxes to the left of the names of the apps. Ensure the Audubon Birds app has a checkmark beside it. If not, then check this box so that iTunes will now sync the app.
12. Sync your iPhone by using the sync button on the bottom right of this screen or using the sync command in the File menu.

Try your app again to see if it is working properly.
